Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 October 2026 · Draft — under legal review.

1. What VLTY is

VLTY (operated by [[Operator legal name, company no.]], "we") runs an app that connects drivers whose electric car is running low with people nearby who can charge it on the spot ("helpers"), using a portable charger or their own car. We are a platform: we don’t charge cars ourselves, and helpers are independent, not our employees.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or over and give accurate details. You sign in with a phone number we verify by SMS, or with Apple or Google followed by your phone number. Keep your phone and account secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Requesting a charge (drivers)

4. Helping (helpers)

5. Payments

Payments are processed by a licensed payment provider (Grow). We never see or store your full card number. Receipts are issued for every charge.

6. Paying outside the app

Arranging to pay each other outside VLTY for a job that started in the app is not allowed. If a request is cancelled and the two phones then stay together for several minutes, we treat the job as done in the app: the driver is charged the agreed price plus the service fee, the helper is paid, and both accounts are flagged.

7. Safety

Stop only where it is safe and legal, away from traffic, with hazard lights on. If you feel unsafe, call 100 (police) or 101 (Magen David Adom). Don’t share the handover code if anything doesn’t match.

8. Responsibility

Helpers are responsible for the charging they carry out; drivers for their car and where they stop. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our liability for a job is limited to the amount paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection law.

9. Not allowed

10. Suspension and changes

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We may update these terms; we will tell you in the app before important changes take effect.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
